I worked on this project in one of my first classes in the CSG program at MATC. It was a group project where people from different emphasis had to make a game. I was one of the programmers for it, though I did not get to program as much as I wanted to in this project. This was due to me not having any programming experience at all at the time. So we had to rely on some outside help to get things programmed properly. I did get to program on it though but only slightly. For the most part, I only made levels in the game, was the build master for the project, and set up the animations for the characters.
In this game, the object is to get all the items that are on a list in a certain amount of time. Your supposed to do this while avoiding other characters, as they will take time away from the timer. Once you get all the items you need, the next level will load up. The game has 4 different stores with about 3 different levels for each. You can decide which store you want to go to. After you complete all the levels in a store the game will load back to the main menu.
These are the earliest pieces of code I have written. The first script was supposed to enable me and my team to set which scenes the buttons from the store selection screen would load first. In the second script, I did not write that script entirely, I only added some lines of code to it to play specific animations depending on the if statement used.
